The Tomato Festival in St. Louis, Mo. featured a super-sized sandwich: the world's largest BLT. The 224-foot sandwich used some 600 pounds of bacon, 550 pounds of tomatoes, 440 pounds of bread, 60 gallons of mayonnaise, 220 heads of lettuce and 110 pounds of butter.
Proceeds from the world's largest BLT went to the Lift for Life Academy, a gym that incentivizes St. Louis children to make healthy choices. Check out a video of the gigantic BLT below:
