UC Davis, a major agricultural university, is now offering a bachelor of science in sustainable agriculture.
"Students will focus on the social, economic and environmental aspects of agriculture and food – from farm to table and beyond".
It seems that the modern youth culture is getting more plugged into the environment and where their food actually comes from. School gardens, green farmers, youth markets, and education are all going a long way to supporting the planet, and insuring a healthy future for generations to come.
