Could Monsanto finally be in trouble?
CNN reports on an Iowa study, which shows that the bugs which were supposed to be destroyed by the pesticides built into the corn's genes, are now becoming resistant. Farmers were warned not to rely on one pesticide, because this allows pests to adapt and mutate. The end result could be superbugs, which may be very difficult to get rid of.
The Monsanto stock has declined slightly. I wonder what the effect will be, if the pubic learns just how destructive Monsanto's "food" really is to their and health, and the planet.
