These super-sized cork portraits by Scott Gunderson elevate the concept of crafts with old wine corks to stunning heights. Gunderson sorts the corks by hue, strategically placing them on the backing according to guidelines he's previously drawn in pencil.
Gunderson uses his cork portraits to highlight sustainable art; they have been featured in Ripley's Believe it or Not and in publications all over the world. See a stop-motion video of his design process below:
