A Saturday Night Live skit which was designed to make fun of NPR, was also the inspiration for Ben and Jerry's new Shweddy Balls ice-cream.
The vanilla ice-cream has a hint of rum and fudge covered malt balls. Is this is a case of life imitating art? Or perhaps it's just that, "no one can resist their shweddy balls."
(Yes, the author is giggling, that she just wrote this post).
