Madonna Dishes on Her Diet Weaknesses and Cooking Skills

September 11, 2011

Madonna recently sat for a lengthy interview with the Daily Mail in which the Material Girl discussed (among many other things) her diet weaknesses and her culinary prowess. There's no secret to Madonna's signature rock-hard body: "I don't eat as much pizza as everybody else, that's No. 1," she explained. "I exercise even when I'm too bloody tired to." She also eats plenty of vegetables and fish, and tries her best to avoid fried food, creamy sauces and cheese.

But what are Madonna's weaknesses when it comes to food? "Sticky toffee pudding with the sauce... no custard," she told interviewer Baz Bamigboye. "I like bangers and mash. And mushy peas." Don't count on the ageless singer to prepare these delicacies herself, though -- she doesn't cook.

"It's not in my DNA," she explained. "My kids all cook really good. I could cook if you put a gun to my head, but after a long day at the office I want to come home and find my dinner on the table."
