Fans at a small fair in Washington State can sample an unusual edible treat: the Bacon Avalanche. The Marcoe Candy Company mixed Dreyer's vanilla ice cream with bacon and topped the mix with bacon crumbles for the Puyallup Fair.
“I know it sounds weird,” said Robbie Marcoe, a manager for the company. “We take soft serve ice cream with seven percent butter fat and add bacon. It’s really good.”
Apparently, the tasty treat has been selling like hotcakes. Would you to sample the Bacon Avalanche?
