Guacamole is by far my favorite condiment. I enjoy it with chips, with tacos, or even on top of my burger. This recipe is super easy and absolutely delicious. To cut down on the spice, omit the serrano chile pepper or take out the ribs (white part) and seeds of the peppers. Make sure to keep the guacamole covered so the avocados don't oxidize and turn brown. Celebrate National Guacamole Day and Hispanic Heritage Month with this fabulous Mexican dip.
Ingredients:
4 Avocados
2 jalapeños pepper
1 serrano pepper
1 tomato
1 onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 lime juiced
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Mash up avocados until as soft as possible in large bowl.
Chop up jalapeños and serrano (take seeds and ribs out for less spice), tomato, and onion and add to avocados.
Use scissors to chop up a bunch of cilantro to taste into bowl.
Add lime juice and salt to taste.
Mix thoroughly.
Serve with tortilla chips.
