British designer Rachel Freire shocked attendees of her London Fashion Week runway presentation on Monday with a controversial dress made with 3,000 cow and yak teats. Freire fashioned the nipple-covered gown using cattle hide recovered from tanneries, according to the Daily Mail, and plans to show the piece at her upcoming Paris Fashion Week show.
Unsurprisingly, the public -- and animal rights activists -- have spoken out against Rachel Freire's titillating design. The designer defends her work as "recycling," saying, "The people criticizing are clearly clueless about the amount of leather wasted on a daily basis." What do you think of her dress?
