The FDA has issued a recall on Andrew-Williamson Organic grape tomatoes. The tomatoes are imported from Mexico and sold under the specific brand Limited Edition and Fresh & Easy label.
The Andrew-Williamson company had issued a voluntary recall September 28th, after a package of their organic tomatoes tested positive for Salmonella, at a supplier in Michigan.
A total of 23,000 cases of grape tomatoes are being recalled. They were distributed in 18 U.S. states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and two Canadian Provinces; British Columbia and Ontario.

Consumers who have any remaining product with UPC code 033383655925 or Barcode 20025465 should not consume it, but should instead discard it. As an added safety measure, retailers are encouraged to check their inventories and store shelves to confirm that product is no longer available for purchase.
