Pupusas are a Salvadorean dish that are made by stuffing corn masa with cheese, beans, and pork. The patties are then cooked on a piping hot griddle until brown. Pupusas are served with curtido, a spicy slaw made from cabbage, onions, and carrots. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend it. You can go to a authentic Salvadorean restaurant or learn how to make them at home with this video.
