The Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado started yesterday with 450 breweries and 2400 beers for festival goers to taste. This year, Black Star Beer and the Great Northern Brewery are awarding one beer drinker the ultimate beer fan trophy.
Minott Wessinger, founder of Black Star Beer says "without devout beer drinkers and lovers all over the country, none of us would be here at this festival. It is not only for you that we brew beer, it is because of you that we try and brew the finest beer we can."
Marcus Duffey, General Manager of the Great Northern Brewery notes "What better place to find and award the biggest beer fan, than at the most epic beer festival in the country."
This trophy is complete with tons of bells and whistles. It is outfitted with a working bronco tap handle, Black Star beer cans, branded steins, and a iPod dock with speakers. To enter to win, festival goers must check-in on Facebook or visit the Black Star or Great Northern Brewery booths at the festival. To read the ful article for more information, click here.
