Although the Digital Cork is just a concept for now, I have already designated a place for it on my shelf. This design by Kwang-wi Park and Eun-ji Lim is a Wi-Fi-enabled bottle stopper embedded with a sensor that monitors the drinkability of an open wine bottle.
The Digital Cork can display essential information like the wine's temperature, the date on which the bottle stopper was deployed for that particular bottle, and an estimated "best taste by" date. Would you purchase this cork if it was manufactured?
