Dejana Kabiljo, an architect based in Vienna, is the designer behind this LetThemSitCake sofa. The unusual couch is made of 4.5 tons of bagged flour and 120 liters of fake chocolate icing made of a spongelike material, and was created for Beijing Design Week.
Kabiljo was inspired by Viennese pastries, and meant for her installation to give visitors "a moment of sweetness, indulgence and joy" despite living in a time of "uncertainty and crisis." What do you think of the LetThemSitCake sofa?
