Every year, thousands of Germans and international tourists converge on Munich for the annual Oktoberfest celebration. The festival features delicious German beer, food and carnival rides to keep everyone entertained and happy. Unfortunately, though, there is a dark side to the atmosphere as well.
The Sueddeutsche Zeitung looked at the "grabbing, groping, drunken come-ons, sexist insults and flashing foreigners" that also come with the festival in an article. With security that is often inadequate at best, even a short walk to the bathroom can quickly turn degrading and even dangerous.
