October 5, 2011

Today, more than 960,000 Americans will celebrate their birthday, according to a recent survey. More Americans were born on October 5th than any other day of the year, overtaking October 16th as the most common birthdate in the country! (In case you were wondering, May 22nd is the least common birthday.) So happy birthday to you -- to the nearly 1 million Americans who just got another year older, another year wiser!
Celebrating? Thinking about it? You need to make this Mind Blowing German Chocolate Cake from David Lebovitz. No, really, go make it right now.
