100-year-old Fauja Singh ran a marathon in Toronto yesterday and credits his good health to his simple lifestyle.
Singh sticks to a vegetarian diet that includes curry and tea, with absolutely no drinking or smoking of any kind. He began running at the age of 89 and has managed to complete eight marathons.
"I have said it before: that I will carry on running, as it is keeping me alive," Singh said.
