These Halloween skull truffles are a creepy -- albeit quite remarkable -- treat. Marc Brownlow posted his truffle recipe on the Make: Projects site, and it is every bit as intense as you think it would be. Brownlow first sculpted his own skulls using polymer clay before casting them in silicone to create a mold.
Once the molds were created, Brownlow filled them with white chocolate and a bittersweet ganache. The gooey brain at the top is comprised of a walnut coated in candy melts. Brownlow said of his project, "I wanted to create a Halloween treat for adults. Something not to be gobbled, but savored." Do you think he achieved that goal?
