
The Zombie Root Carousel is a marvelous drink that makes you spin in a circle. How? What? Like a carousel? Or like a zombie?
Look out! There's one behind you now!
I'm still not sure.
Take some home cured cherries, mash them into a pulp in a cocktail shaker
(Home cured cherries- Pit out 2 pints of cherries, put them in some sterilized Ball Jars, top with brandy, let sit for about 2 weeks in the fridge, they're better than ANYTHING you can buy)
Add one shot of ROOT- USDA Certified Organic Root Tea
Add two shots of Tuthilltown Manhattan Rye Whiskey
Add a few splashes of Fee Brothers Rhubarb Bitters
Scrape a bit of fresh ginger root into the cocktail shaker
Add some ice, shake and strain into a tall cocktail glass
Finish with a few splashes of Q-Ginger Ale
Garnish with a pickled rhubarb spear and a bit of lime to ward off scurvy.. Lime-juice also wards off Zombies...
