When the weather begins to cool and the leaves begin to change, we begin gravitate towards warm and comforting dishes. Here are some of my favorite recent recipe finds.
Shepherd's Pie with Garlic Mash
Instead of cooking the garlic cloves with the potatoes, try roasting the head of garlic and add the delicate cloves to the mashed potatoes.
Chicken Soup
This nourshing soup helps you recover from that stomach bug or get over a bad day.
Apple Turnovers with a Cheddar Cheese Crust
This classic American dessert is turned into a hand held pie.
Stove-Top Pumpkin Mac n' Cheese
Butternut squash would also be delicious in this recipe.
Caramel Stuffed Apple Cider Cookies
These warm and gooey cookies from Scrambled Henfruit are filled with the flavors of fall.
