Serously, who believes those infomercials? I mean, really. Money Without Risk? Even at 3 a.m., that doesn't sound real.
Anyways, here is a little story of how I found one of my favorite kitchen gadgets of all time, and it was an informercial product! I did NOT buy it off the TV. When my mother in law moved up here to live with us, she brought her own personal "As Seen On TV" warehouse of items - still in the original packaging of course. One of those items was the Vidalia Chop Wizard. Corny name, awesome product!
Lets just say, this baby gets used at least 3 times a week at my place. Make fresh salsa in a minute, chop that month's onions in less than a minute (little tip: chop all your onions/peppers and freeze). This baby is so simply useful, that it helps me add vegetables to just about everything, with no hassle. The plastic is sturdy, the screens are sharp, and you can really whale on it, if trying to cut too much at once. Don't ask me how I know.
Really, this product deserves our respect and a place in your cupboard.
