Check out this huge sculpture that John Deere is planning on building out of donated canned goods.
According to a spokesperson for John Deere,The project, called Can Do, combines sculpture and food donations. The project is designed to raise awareness of the essential role of farmers and ranchers in food production. As part of the effort, you can go to the Facebook page and design your own can to make a label for a real can of food that will go into the sculpture.
The finished sculpture is going to be made of up to 300,000 cans and weigh an estimated 170 tons.
You can be a part of this wonderful effort! Go to the Project CAN DO Facebook page, and get started. For every virtual can you design, John Deere will donate one real can to the sculpture.
