Certain members of Congress are trying to rush legislation that is essentially a "secret farm bill".
"Four members of the House and Senate Ag committees are meeting to rush the 2012 Food and Farm Bill to the Super Committee and steal any chances for reforms for local, organic and healthy food until the next Farm Bill comes up in 2017".
To oppose this legislation, Food Democracy Now has created a template which can be emailed to your senators and representatives, or there is the option to pick up the phone and call them.
