Cookies are delicious and often addictive, but they don't need to be bad for you.
This nutrient dense recipe for raw hazelnut cookies is sweetened only with dates and a small amount of raw honey.
2 1/2 cups raw hazelnuts
6 medjool dates, chopped
2 tablespoons mesquite pod meal
2 tablespoons raw honey
1 tablespoon coconut butter or oil
1 vanilla bean, scraped
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan salt
