Why don't you switch things up a bit, and serve some of the traditional Thanksgiving side dishes, in a new way?
I heard a comment today, that I thought you might like to consider:
Recipes are a map, not a contract
Remember that when you are looking at a recipe and thinking that you either don't have all the ingredients, or you are inspired to think outside of the box.
