An unusual shipment of watermelon from Mexico was stopped and searched upon entering Arizona. After X-Raying the cargo, border agents found nearly 3000 pounds of marijuana hidden inside the fruit.
The incident occurred in Nogales, Arizona. Agents estimated the cargo was worth $1.5 million dollars and counted 128 bundles of marijuana. The Mexican driver was turned over to Homeland Security and the vehicle was seized.
