Milwaukee restaurant owner Michael Diedrick recently made a curious business deal: he sold the National Cafe and Takeaway to chef Nell Benton for just $100 and free meals for a year.
This restaurant was no run-down hole-in-the-wall, either, as it was valued at $50,000. Diedrick had always planned to sell the restaurant once he found the right owner. The National Cafe and Takeaway serves local, organic food in a waste-free manner.
