Meringue cookies always remind me of the holidays with their star shape and pure white color. These light-as-air cookies are made by whipping egg whites and sugar together until it becomes white and fluffy. You can flavor them with extracts like peppermint or add stripes of food coloring to make them more festive. Either way, meringues definitely deserve a spot on your holiday cookie list.
