Here's a feel good story for your Friday. One happy young couple decided to celebrate their wedding in the place where their love first bloomed: a Tulsa Starbucks. Eva McCarthy and Carmine Capparello fell in love over coffee and described the coffee shop as "family." He proposed to her one month before shipping out for 15 months of service for the Navy in Iraq.
While he was away, Eva and her mom stopped in for coffee every week. The staff made her feel welcome and truly supported their customers. "It was like family. Everyone here is great. Words are so powerful," Eva said.
The store closed early and helped setup the wedding ceremony. Apparently this is the first time the Tulsa Starbucks has hosted a wedding.
