Nebraska meat packer Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. has recalled more than 40,000 pounds of ground beef across 16 states after a routine test yielded a positive E Coli test.
The meat was distributed to stores in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The affected meat was packaged in 10-pound chubs of chuck fine ground beef 80/20.
No reports of illness have been received. All questions should be directed to the company at 866-328-3156.
