A woman survived for nine days in her snowbound car on little more than two candy bars and melted snow. Lauren E Weinburg was driving through remote territory, with no specific destination in mind, when her car became stuck and she could not move it.
Her cell phone battery was dead. In order to survive, she placed snow in bottles and used sunlight to melt it. She also relied on two candy bars.
"I am so thankful to be alive and warm," Weinberg said through a spokeswoman. "Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, because they worked. There were times I was afraid but mostly I had faith I would be found."
If only she had some Coors Light to balance it out.

These people really need to stop driving aimlessly in the middle of the winter. Or hey, I don't know, maybe keep something other than beer and candy in the car, "just in case."
