Seems like everyday that thieves find something more bizarre to steal. Today's candidate for most bizarre robbery comes from the city of Philadelphia where two thieves made off with 510 pounds of frozen meatballs.
A truck driver had parked his rig in Old City and fallen asleep. Around 12:40 a.m. two men broke into the truck and began making off with 17 cases of the frozen meat. Another driver noticed the crime and attempted to stop it, but the men made off with their loot in a van.
The crime might be slightly better than the woman who placed a case of Guinness up her dress or the man who shoplifted a thing of ribs down his pants. Or maybe not.
