Golden snitch truffles from Girl Meets Bowl keep the Harry Potter magic alive. Whether you are a fan of the books, movies, or both, these decadent chocolate truffles will get you in the quidditch spirit. Melted dark chocolate is flavored with Kahlua and mixed with heavy whipping cream. Once the chocolate has cooled, roll the truffle mixture into balls and brush with edible gold powder. The wings are made with dark chocolate and decorated with edible gold spray. Golden snitch truffles are a gilded treat for any Harry Potter fan.
Ingredients:
2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or dark chocolate)
1 cup whipping cream
2 tbs Kahlua or vanilla extract or flavor of choice
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2-1 cup dark chocolate, 60% or higher
