The man who has helped Oprah get in shape for the last 16 years is sharing fitness advice that anyone can follow. Bob Greene recently talked to Shape magazine and shared a few important nutrition tips.
"Healthy eating is a way of life, not a diet," Green said.
The celebrity trainer says every meal should include an anti-aging food like blueberries, eggplant or sweet potatoes. A simple way to add healthy foods to your diet is by cutting out white starches and replacing them with unrefined starches like brown rice, steel cut oats and legumes. Finally, Green says adding a few herbs and spices to your diet, like ginger and basil, "can help you live longer and fight infection and chronic diseases."
