It's National Margarita Day and what better way to celebrate then with an ice cold one. We may be far from Cinco de Mayo but that doesn't mean we can't sip on a really good margarita. This is a classic recipe for this Mexican cocktail but feel free to experiment with other flavors (try cucumber, peach, cactus pear, or honey dew). The addition of mezcal gives a distinct smoky undertone to the Margarita. Take some time and unwind with this smokin' good margarita.
Ingredients:
2 ounces quality, good silver tequila (Herradura is nice)
1 ounce Grand Marnier
1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon Del Maguey Chichicapa Mezcal
