Fan Brings Knife to Meet and Greet with Gordon Ramsay

March 9, 2012

Gordon Ramsay had a bit of a scare earlier this week when he was at a meet-and-greet for fans of the celebrity chef in New Zealand. After waiting in line for seven hours to meet his idol, Jeffrey Cheung pulled out a knife and almost sliced Ramsay's foot.

Not to worry though, Cheung just wanted to show Ramsay how sharp his kitchen knife was by cutting a shopping bad. However, in the excitement, Cheung's aim was a big off and he dropped the knife, hitting Ramsay's foot. After exclaiming "Oh Jesus!" the uninjured chef agreed to sign the knife, which Cheung plans to frame.

Yikes! Isn't it terrible that we're in a world where a person with a kitchen knife can cause an uproar. My dad has always had pocket knives, but I bet if people knew that, they would feel uncomfortable. Why? He only uses it to open things.
