Jamie Oliver has officially become the richest chef in the world, according to the Daily Star. The 36-year-old is the 501st richest person in the U.K., making him the most successful chef around the globe. He is estimated to be worth £150 million, or more than $240 million USD.
Oliver's restaurant chain, Jamie's Italian, is said to be worth $178 million. The celebrity chef also has 15 cookbooks under his belt which has helped him gain bestseller status 30 times, making Oliver the second best-selling British author after J.K. Rowling (of Harry Potter fame).
