Are you getting out there and hooking a few fish this spring? That is the epitome of local eating! These Hush Puppies are a great addition to any fish dinner. They are deep fried, but if you combine them with a lighter broiled fish and of course, salad to balance your plate.
The most important tip to remember, is to allow time for the batter to chill before starting to fry. The hush puppies also taste better if allowed to cool slightly before serving. Delish!
