This creative confection does not require any special ingredients or cake decorating tools which makes it great for kids parties. Two cakes are frosted and then coated in graham cracker crumbs to resembles sand. Waffle cones and sugar cones create the towers. You can add a variety of candies to give your sand castle cake a pop of color.
2 cake mixes, or equivalent from scratch
1 large container white frosting
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
20 graham cracker sticks
4-6 waffle cones
4-6 sugar cones
Fruit roll ups, for seaweed and flags
Assorted candies for decorations, such as Swedish Fish, Starburst, chocolate rocks, etc.
