Dr. Oz Approves First Crash Diet

June 3, 2012

Dr. Oz has approved his first crash diet. The talk show host announced on Friday that he will be revealing in detail a diet that will allow users to lose 10 pounds in seven days.

The new diet was created by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, and his based on his version of a density food scale. The higher foods are on the scale, the more fat they will allow you to burn -- which also means dieters can eat as much as they want.

The foods with the highest density include green and starchy vegetables, and fruit. Foods like sweets, red meat and full-fat dairy sit lowest on the food density scale.

Tune in to Dr. Oz's show tomorrow (Monday) as he delves deeper into the diet that has gotten his seal of approval.
