TV personality and cookbook writer, Rachael Ray has released a new summer cookbook, The Book of Burgers. This book contains 200 recipes for burgers, sliders, sides, sloppies, hog dogs, sides and sauces. In addition, there are winning recipes from Ray's annual South Beach Wine and Food Festival Burger Bash including Bobby Flay, Morimoto, Spike Mendelsohn and other. Ray goes beyond traditional beef burgers and offers recipes for portobello burgers with spinach pesto, Middle Eastern lamb burgers with baba ghanoush, everything bagel salmon burgers, Italian BBQ chicken burgers, just to name a few. For party-friendly burgers, you might prepare Ray's signature chicken and biscuit sliders or Southern-inspired pimento cheese sliders. The sides are just as important at the main event and deserve to be equally delicious which could be sweet and sour pickles or double-baked crazy-crisp oven fries.
