Thirsty Thursdays: Maple Caffe Cocktail

Settled down during the fall with this Maple Caffe Cocktail.  This cocktail is made with a combination of coffee, maple syrup, and bourbon.  I would use Grade B maple syrup for this recipe because it has a deeper and richer flavor that pairs well with coffee. Top your cocktail with lightly sweetened whipped cream.

Maple Caffe Cocktail


cocktail shaker
2 ounces bourbon
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Fill half the cocktail shaker with ice
Add all ingredients and shake in a back and forth motion several times
Pour into a glass straining the ice
Serve immediately
