J. Bouchon
Malbec after a sunset? Sounds wonderful. At J. Bouchon I got to try their 2010 Reserva Especial Malbec with dinner. It was great to enjoy a Chilean Malbec with food, as versions like J. Bouchon's have the kind of freshness and deft touch that make them a pleasure at the table.
Santa Rita
Strolling through the impeccable loveliness of Casa Real's gardens was a highlight of my visit to Santa Rita. But might I suggest finding a shady spot to leisurely gaze at all this beauty, perhaps with a glass of their 2009 Reserva Malbec? It is a dark and brooding wine, and certainly your surroundings will transform it into something contemplative, extra pleasurable, and memorable.
If you're still thirsty for the wines of Chile, I've got a sparkling rosé for you.
