To Die For Buttermilk Onion Rings With Sriracha Sauce

May 25, 2013

We love our eat-like-an-apple sweet Walla Walla onions here in Washington State. Georgia's got their Vidalia, Hawaii has their Maui Sweets, but we're particularly proud of our Walla Wallas. Just about any white or yellow onion can be used in an onion ring recipe, but we think you should stick with a sweet variety like the ones in this recipe from Deb's Perfect Bite. She dredges her Vidalia rings in a buttermilk batter then coats them with breadcrumbs. Once golden brown they're perfect for dipping in a spicy hot sriracha cream sauce!
