June 1, 2013

If you have ever eaten at a Hawaiian barbecue joint, you know that every plate is accompanied with a side of macaroni salad.  Unlike mainland macaroni salad, the Hawaiian version contains crushed pineapple, red bell pepper, and green onions.  You can also add diced ham if you want.  This salad is perfect for surprising your family with something different yet tasty.  Serve Hawaiian macaroni salad alongside your other favorite barbecue dishes.
