Ingredients:

100 grams butter
190 grams sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
260 grams flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Chocolate sprinkles
150 ml sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons butter in room temperature
1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Sift the flour and baking powder. Set aside.

Cream together butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add egg and beat again. Add vanilla and beat a little more. Fold in the flour and baking powder. Separate about 3 Tbsp of the dough and stir in cocoa powder. Leave both dough in fridge for 15 minutes, covered with wrap.

Whisk together the sweet condensed milk, butter and cocoa. Cook in slow heat, whisking to not make any lump. When you can see the base of pan and the mixture is creamy, remove from heat and let cool. Do not leave it too thick. Roll into small balls sizing with a teaspoon and let chill in fridge or freezer just until cold.

When ready, preheat the oven to 370˚C.

Roll the white dough into small balls, filling with a ball of the brigadeiro filling. Make the ears with the dark dough. Use two sprinkles as the eyes. Bake for 7-10 minutes just until the base is golden brown. Let them cool on a rack.
