Festive Fall Pumpkin Pecan Cake Recipe

November 6, 2014

With the busy holiday season upon us we often don’t have the time to make everything we eat from scratch. Need to bring a dessert to a holiday party but are short on time? Before you buy a sweet treat at the store why not make an easy dump cake? Dump cakes, a dessert similar to a cobbler but with a less attractive name, are both delicious and - yes!- beautiful! Best of all, they take just a few simple steps and are super versatile. Typically dump cakes consist of canned or frozen fruits and a boxed cake mix (just dump and bake!), but they can also feature chocolate and other ingredients like pumpkin. We love this festive fall pumpkin pecan cake recipe that’s the perfect pairing with any holiday meal.
