Plan Your 4th Of July Feast With These 5 Recipes

July 2, 2016

Fourth of July means family gatherings and lots of fun. It's a time where all the kids come back home and the grill never stops going all weekend. Here in Maine, each town has it's own celebration that lasts for days. All the locals celebrate during the days with their families and then meet in a traditional place and watch the fireworks at dusk. Truly, it's the real kickoff for the summer season (that is very short here on the coast.)

Making enough food to feed the festivities can take some creativity. It's always fun to come up with food that has a patriotic theme and still appeals to the traditional side of our family's expectations. Here are a list of fun and tasty recipes that all just shout "Happy 4th of July!" You are going to love them all.
