Perfect Fall Spiced Tea

September 27, 2016

Warm drinks are the perfect incentive to get the kids out to do their chores in the morning. I like to have a variety of things to offer them, because what kid doesn't like to make their own decisions? Making up mixes are an easy way offer something a little different with a homemade spin on it. I gift this to may of my friends, its nice as a holiday present, when I put it in a seasonal baggie and then into a pretty teacup. Find these easy to buy ingredients at any grocery store, or order online to make it even easier.

This is a family staple: the recipe card is worn and unsigned. I am not sure who came up with this mix, but it sure does hit the spot!

Fall Spiced Tea Mix

1 1/2 cup plain instant tea mix
2 cups Tang
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup lemonade mix(I use Country Time)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves

Combine all and store in a glass jar.

To use, measure 1 teaspoon per cup of hot water. Stir and enjoy!
