Pumpkin Cake With Chocolate Ganache

October 20, 2016

Pumpkin is the perfect ingredient for desserts. It's the nicest base of flavor to pair with the warming spices that taste so good on these cooler days.

Pumpkin and chocolate combine beautifully, and we all know that pumpkin spice is the flavor for fall. If you don't believe us, check out Holly Sander's new recipe that she shares with Foodista readers. This pumpkin spice cake boasts semi sweet chocolate and all the fall spices you can handle.

It's beautifully topped with semi-sweet chocolate ganache, not too sweet so that it might overpower the pumpkin flavor. The semi sweetness is just enough to still allow the cinnamon goodness to shine.
